Commenting on the construction works, Joseph Thomas, Co-Founder and Managing Director, Ellington Properties, said: “We have completed engineering approvals, site execution, final fixture installations, authority inspection approvals, testing and commissioning, snagging and de-snagging as well as building handover. The ducting was supplied by Jindal, the MS pipes by Surya Pipes and the cables by NCI. The light fittings were sourced from Romaluce, the LV switchgears from Legrand and the plumbing was supplied by Cosmoplast. The busbar systems were sourced from Power Duct. The video intercom systems were supplied by Comelit. The chiller systems were provided by York. Commenting on the construction milestones, Joseph Thomas said: “The Wilton Terraces development achieved structural completion in March 2019, with the final installations completed in June 2021.Additionally, the authority inspection milestones were achieved in September 2021, following which the testing and commissioning phases were completed in December 2021. The final handover of the development was reached in January 2022.” Throughout the construction phase, Dubai Municipality approved safety training sessions were conducted on a regular basis, which resulted in 4,064,802 safe man-hours without lost-time incident (LTI) on the project.
