Lawrence began his architectural career in the early 1990s after completing his education in Cambridge. Since then, he has gained extensive experience across multiple sectors in both the UK and UAE, contributing to large-scale mixed-use developments with a strong focus on residential, retail, and hospitality projects.

He has built a versatile skill set in architecture, design management, and property development, successfully managing high-rise residential, serviced apartment, and hospitality projects. Excelling at overseeing multiple complex developments simultaneously in fast-paced, high-pressure environments, he has also led multidisciplinary teams and collaborated with international consultants on large-scale masterplan communities, guiding projects from concept design through to delivery. His experience spans integrating residential, hospitality, wellness, and retail components within thoughtfully planned environments.

Five years ago, Lawrence joined Ellington Properties as Director of Development to enhance productivity and operational efficiency. Through a strategic restructuring of the Development Department and the introduction of a clear development strategy, Ellington entered a new phase of growth—streamlining processes, improving team coordination, and scaling its development pipeline. Ellington’s growth into one of the region’s most respected developers has been a collective effort, with its development team serving as the primary catalyst. Guided by a strategic vision, the company is now moving into master-planned community development—a natural progression that reflects both its shared expertise and forward-looking ambition.
